A new-look SEND Bulletin from the NCC is full of updates on what's happening in SEND in Norfolk
In this first edition, the NCC has got the latest news on their priorities for the next year and their work following last year’s Ofsted/CQC inspection, progress on new special school provision, the new speech and language service, transition planning for moving to a new school, as well as ways to get involved in new groups, support while you’re waiting for health assessments and upcoming events.
New priorities for the next year For the next year the NCC will be focusing their efforts on four new priorities for SEND services in Norfolk. More than 14 organisations including SENsational Families worked together to decide what the most important issues are across the whole SEND system. Priority 1: Working together with children and young people with SEND Priority 2: Improving what is in place for families and professionals to support children and young people with SEND Priority 3: Communicating the SEND services and support available in Norfolk Priority 4: Preparing young people for adult life If you want to know more, you can read the Area SEND Strategy below.
